More than 40 prominent photographers were interviewed about the momentous shift in technology. Brian Sholis, associate curator for photography at the Cincinnati Art Museum, saw an early cut of photographer and filmmaker Harvey Wang’s new documentary “From Darkroom to Daylight” last February. For the project, Wang interviewed more than 40 noted photographers about the momentous shift from film to digital photography. Sholis knew he wanted to bring the film to Cincinnati, and on the last Sunday in November, the museum will present its premiere public screening here. “Wang interviews leading photographers on both sides of the analogue-digital divide and contextualizes the dramatic shifts occurring within photography,” Sholis says. “It’s great to see famous photographers at work and to hear their thoughts about the issues confronting all photographers today.” The screening starts at 2 p.m. Nov. 30 in the museum’s Mary R. Schiff Library and Archives. Run time is approximately 75 minutes. It’s free and open to the public.
